Challenge

In light of the fast moving covid pandemic, our client Aura Assistance needed to rapidly launch a travel insurance product to meet the needs of travellers who visit specific countries. Firstly in selling their product to work with particular countries they needed a ‘demo-site’ and then once they had an assistance programme in place for a given country – they needed to launch this under the Aura brand. Unsure how to go about this in the most efficient and effective way they approached us at Reactive.

SOLUTION

In working closely with the client (always how we like to work to get the best solution) – it was deemed it would be most efficient and cost-effective to have different sub-sites which would be based on a similar ‘1-page’ template – with each being personalised to a specific country. By working in this way, it would be easy to clone an existing country sub-site, brand it up and make it available for demo. Once it was approved with a member country it could be easily added to the landing page list of countries.

AURA ASSISTANCE

Due to the clients need to have a rapid working process, the ‘1-page’ site approach meant that we needed to display quite a bit of information. As ever when presenting information on a website – the user’s needs need to be taken into consideration – and the layout needs to be not only visually appealing – but also present the information in an easy to digest manner. To do this it’s impprtant to have visual hierarchies to help the eye find relevant information and have clear Call To Action’s so the user takes the desired action. Breaking up the sections of the site into visual chunks/modules, aided by the us eof icons & images also helps the content look manageable on the eye and easy to read.

In terms of the menu navigation, these had anchored links to modules further down the page, which is suitable to the distilled content and make’s all information immediately available. Because of the amount of FAQ’s – an accordian technique was used to enable the user to ‘open-up’ these one by open where relevant.
